WHAT IS E-PORTFOLIO?
An electronic portfolio, also known as an e-portfolio or digital portfolio, is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user, usually on the Web. Such electronic evidence may include inputted text, electronic files, images, multimedia, blog entries, and hyperlinks.
E-portfolios are both demonstrations of the user's abilities and
platforms for self-expression, and, if they are online, they can be
maintained dynamically over time. Some e-portfolio applications permit
varying degrees of audience access, so the same portfolio might be used
for multiple purposes.

Electronic Portfolios allow FACULTY and ADMINISTRATORS to have alternative means of assessing students .The students will creatively showcase their work and reflect on their learning. In e-portfolio the teacher and the student can share feedback and comments on the learning process.A discussion forum of students and teachers is built wherein messages are openly shared.Teacher and students can share their plans, activities, and events encountered on learning. E-portfolio can be considered as an asset of every learner for they could store, use, develop and adapt the shared learning process.
As teachers, we can utilize the e-portfolio as a collective tool for collaborative learning, and encourage and help our students to prepare ‘learning e-portfolios’ that able them to improve their learning.

My Reflection ...
In SE 204 class , as a student in graduate studies it is a great value more than a gem to undergo series of learning in every module of the course. In my teaching profession I have been doing good and reflected on the things that I usually do in the classroom. I do away being a traditional teacher. Yes, we can develop the quality of education in the Philippines if we as teachers aim and soar high for a professional change.
By how? Put away traditional teaching and embrace the 21st Century teaching innovation. All learning should always put into application... That is why this educational blog has been made possible because of the great desire and initiative of our professor,

This blog is made possible through the initiative of our Professor, Dr. Ava Clare Marie O. Robles
